Promptly after returning from Disney, I sent wedding announcements to our hometown papers, the Columbus paper, and our respective universities.  The Columbus paper and U of I seem to have properly handled the announcement - Rose gets a question mark; the Angola and Terre Haute papers are a different story.

The day before our wedding announcement should have been displayed in the Terre Haute paper, I receive an e-mail that says "Our forms have not been working correctly and since you didn't list an employer, I would like to confirm the information."  One, I'm not working, another blog entirely; two, why wait to the day before.  I was slightly annoyed.  After not hearing from the e-mailer for a few days, I call and end up talking to someone else.  I confirm the information then ask when it will be printed.  Three to four weeks, the run the announcements by the date of the marriage even though the website says they'll be posted within two weeks.  Whatever.

The Angola paper has been even more interesting.  Today, I called to inquire why the announcement hasn't run; this was the second call, I've placed.  On my original call, I was told to e-mail the additional information in because the form was incomplete.  The announcement never ran.  So I called, they never received the e-mail.  So I resent the e-mail; not in Sunday's paper.  Mom seemed slightly annoyed so I told her I would give the paper a call.  The second e-mail wasn't received either.  I sent a third e-mail; later in the day, I get a call, still no e-mail.  Great.  So I sent it from another e-mail account.  I finally get an e-mail confirming the receipt.  Unfortunately, no one can tell me when it will be printed.

 Ugh!

Caleb and I decided to take it easy on our last day of vacation.  Why?  First because the low crowd levels, we had experienced everything we wanted to except Soarin which was slated for 10:00 AM before the crowds got thick.  And two, our flight back arrived in Indy at 9:00 PM.

Caleb made breakfast reservation for 7:30; opening time.  Breakfast was great; the service was dismal.  Caleb headed back to the room and I stayed behind to pay the bill.  I ended up waiting for at least 15 minutes for change.  Why Spoodles didn't have change at 8:00 in the morning, 30 minutes after opening, is beyond me.

After waiting for about 25 minutes, we road Soarin.  Soarin simulates hang gliding in California.  It's a great ride - if you're at Epcot it's worth the wait.

Caleb and I decided to visit DisneyQuest again.  But we had to refuel before we played a few video games.  We stopped back by Earl of Sandwich.  Excellent place to eat.  I thought it was a little like Quiznos; Caleb thought it was more like Mancinos.

Once at DisneyQuest, I killed Caleb in a game of Ms. Pacman.  We also played a few other video games and headed back to the Boardwalk to pick up our luggage for our journe home.

Thursday it was back to the Magic Kingdom.  Since we'd had great luck with short lines, I managed to take Caleb into riding It's A Small World; his least favorite ride.

What trip to Disneyworld is complete without a picture with Mickey?

We rounded out the day with an ice cream sundae and the Magic Kindom's  Wishes.

Friday as we were walking around the park waiting to play "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," we happened about Donald and Daisy emerging from their trailer.  We quickly jumped in line and waited for about 30 seconds...

Next up was Sorcer Mickey.  No wait.  Bonus!

After catching the band "Mulch, Sweat, and Shears," we headed to play "Millionaire."  Unforunately, Caleb or I did not make it to the hot seat but it was fun!

Then we were onto the Primetime Diner for lunch.

This restaurant is modeled after a typical 50's kitchen.  Homestyle food with Aunt Cindy as your waiter.  First boys had to set the table; Caleb did a good job.  The guy at a table near by didn't do so well, he dropped a fork on the floor and was scolded.  There was a large group seated at a table nearby; only Grandma got dessert because she cleaned her plate.  Skippy, other wise known as Caleb, was a member of the clean plate club and me, too.  I had to listen to Aunt Cindy.

Before Epcot's Illumunations, Caleb and I had dinner at Chef de France.  Dinner was OK but very overpriced.  I don't recommend it.  However, Illumunations was neat!

When Caleb and I arrived at the Boardwalk, we had a message.  It was more like a wedding gift; a gift certificate to Fulton's Crab House.

Caleb and I were able to make reservations for Fulton's for Wednesday evening.

When we arrived at Fulton's, I mentioned that we had a gift certificate in the safe.  The hostess told me to just let our server know.  Once we had been seated, I mentioned that we had a gift certificate in the safe.

Since Caleb and I were on a mission to use all of the gift certificate we started dinner out with an a few drinks.  For an appetizer we split a Pacific Dungeness Crab Cake.  It was amazing.

Caleb ordered the Filet and with Alaska King Crab Claws.

I had Fulton's Seafood Trio - Escolar, Gulf shrimp and dungeness crab cake

Both meals were amazing.

And after all that food, we both managed to enjoy dessert.  Did you think we wouldn't?
Caleb had cheesecake with blueberries and I had an apple crisp-like treat.

Much to our dismay, when it came time to pay the bill, the gift certificate could not be found.  Finally after a good 30 minute wait, the waiter located it.  Our meal came to about $135.  Excellent, we would leave the waiter the remainder of the gift card as a tip, plus a few dollars.  Once again, we run into a snag.  After another 5 or so minutes, the waiter agrees to take the gift card as a tip.

Fulton's is excellent.  I doubt that I'll ever go there again...unless I get a gift card.
